Backpack Buddies supplies economically disadvantaged children in the Coweta County School System with food for the weekend. Many children rely on the lunch program by their school during the week and have little to eat over the weekend and holidays. Their vision is to be able to serve these children year round and provide food over the summer when children do not have access to the lunch program by their school. This program is essential to help relieve hunger in the children of Coweta County.
