Thought: What has your heart been ruled by lately? During this politically charged season, what has been ruling your inner attitudes, feelings and thoughts about others? What does it look like for you, to be ruled by Christ, and nothing else, for the next 7 days and beyond?
Prayer Prompt: “God, for the next seven days, and beyond, I surrender myself to you and your rule alone. Help me to live in your calling to have complete sovereignty in my heart so that I may have peace, no matter what happens in this season politically or otherwise.”

I believe that we, as a nation, are one nation under God…this is what I hold on to. I find myself saying out loud, ” In the beginning God…” these words give me peace.
