Sunday Feature, June 7

This week, your child will learn that Gideon’s army had lots of soldiers, but God told him to send nearly all of them home! Gideon trusted God and did what he said to do, even if it meant fighting a battle with a very small army. God loved Gideon, and he loves us too.

Talk about it:

1. What are some things that are hard for you to do?
2. Who are the people who love you like God does?
3. What are some things people who love you may ask you to do because they want what’s best for you (e.g. brush your teeth, eat your vegetables, clean up your toys)?
