I’m Raki, and I’m Made For More.

I felt a strong pull to serve God and His Kingdom, and that’s why I decided to volunteer at Southside. Luke 12:48 reminds us that ‘To whom much is given, much will be required.’ Life can easily distract us, but I realized that serving others is a crucial part of my faith journey. It helps me stay grounded and obedient to God’s calling.

Serving others is a powerful way to express Christ’s love. As 1 Peter 4:10 says, ‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.’ Through service, I connect with new people and share the unconditional love that Christ calls us to give. You never know what challenges others are facing, and by serving them, we might be the blessing they need, just as Galatians 5:13 reminds us: ‘Serve one another humbly in love.’

I believe we are all made for more than just ourselves. Serving others has given my life a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment. It’s a reminder that I am part of something bigger than myself and that I can use my gifts to make a difference in the world. I encourage you to consider how you can use your unique talents to serve others and experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from living a life of service.
