Care & Counseling

Find the help you need

We all have defining moments in our lives—challenging circumstances, relational pain, transitional seasons. How we respond during these times has a direct impact on our futures. The Care Ministry provides a network of ministries, helpful resources, trained volunteers, and professional counselors to help you move forward.

Christian Alcoholics Recovering Together Anonymously is a support group for both men and women who suffer from alcoholism. CARTA pairs the 12-step approach to recovery with support of God’s Word, confidential sharing among group members, and prayer.

Each counselor, therapist, psychologist, and psychiatrist we recommend has been carefully screened by Southside Church for his or her professional expertise, quality of care, and genuine Christian values.

Love is a good start, but a great marriage needs more. We can connect you with a mentor couple to discover how to build a foundation for a strong, lasting marriage. You will be connected with a seasoned mentor couple that will share from their experiences and give you a personalized road map for your marriage journey. The mentor sessions will help you and your fiance’ prepare for marriage by discussing keystone habits of successful couples.
