The three vital relationships to spiritual growth are simple but take intentionality. Building intimacy with God will require different things from us. Spending time alone with him is necessary for healthy spiritual growth. But to truly flourish, establishing community with insiders is vital. Our relationship with God is a journey that takes work and dedication. But how exciting is it that we get to have intimacy with God, community with insiders, and amazing opportunities to influence outsiders and inspire them to follow Jesus?
Scripture: John 15:14-15 – You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to invest in the three vital relationships so I can continue to grow closer to you.
