We inspire people to grow closer to Jesus through love and building trusting relationships. Jesus built trusting relationships with people because he was visible and available. There are countless stories throughout the gospels where we see Jesus go out of his way for others. He healed the sick, fed people, met needs, and talked to those with whom most would have nothing to do. Jesus was able to love people because he spent time with them. To inspire people to follow Jesus, we must spend time with them.
Scripture: Acts 15:19 – It is my judgment therefore that we should not make it difficult for Gentiles who are turning to God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, be with me as I work to build trusting relationships with people who are far from you.
