Mission Trip: 2018 Talamanca, Costa Rica – Discipleship

Date/Time
Date(s) - Saturday, June 23, 2018 - Saturday, June 30, 2018

As a church, we’re in partnership with Operation Mobilization, and have been pouring into the community of Talamanca, Costa Rica for the past 6 years. During our time there we’ve seen tangible transformation by meeting social, developmental, and spiritual needs. Because of the progress, OM has identified 10 local, indigenous leaders (men and women) in Talamanca that need intentional discipleship. These leaders are the future of seeing more Jesus followers in Talamanca.

We’re putting together a leadership development team (10-15 people) to pour into the 10 local leaders in Talamanca. So, if you’re a leader, enjoy leadership, or just enjoy discipleship – this will be an amazing chance to shape lives and continue to transform a community.

Team members will focus on working with local leaders in a highly relational leadership / discipleship training. The focus of this team will be to help equip leaders to effectively engage men & women to step up to their roles as husbands/wives, fathers/mothers, and leaders in their community. Other ministry opportunities on this trip may include home visits, service projects, prayer walks through the community, and attending a local church.
